About the faded colour: Dyed after it is sewn, so the colour runs lighter on exposed edges and darker in the folds, and no two hoods look quite the same; wash cold with similar colours and line dry out of direct sun.
How we print it
Your design is made into a DTF (direct-to-film) transfer and heat-pressed onto the garment by hand in our studio in Kettering. DTF gives full colour and fine detail, photos included, on light and dark fabrics, and the print stays soft and flexible.
Caring for it
- Turn it inside out and wash at 30°C or colder, with similar colours.
- No bleach or fabric softener.
- Line dry, or tumble dry on low.
- Don’t iron directly on the print. Iron inside out if you need to.
- Don’t dry clean.

The AS Colour Relax Faded Hood takes everything that makes the Relax Hood a favourite and adds a garment dyed finish that gives it an instantly vintage, lived-in character that no amount of washing can replicate artificially. Built on the 5166, it is the hoodie for those who want their custom design to feel as considered as it looks.
The same mid-weight 320 GSM CVC fleece blend of 80% cotton and 20% recycled polyester sits underneath a cotton facing that takes artwork cleanly and crisply. The drop shoulder and relaxed fit give it that effortless, oversized silhouette, while the self-fabric lined hood, kangaroo pocket, and ribbed sleeve cuffs keep the details premium throughout. No drawcord keeps the look minimal and clean.
Each hoodie is individually dyed, so subtle variations in tone are part of the character. Each one also saves approximately 7 x 500ml plastic bottles from landfill.
