About the stone washed colour: The wash is done after the tee is sewn, so the colour is mottled and slightly different on every garment rather than one flat shade. Wash cold with similar colours and line dry out of direct sun.
How we print it
Your design is made into a DTF (direct-to-film) transfer and heat-pressed onto the garment by hand in our studio in Kettering. DTF gives full colour and fine detail, photos included, on light and dark fabrics, and the print stays soft and flexible.
Caring for it
- Turn it inside out and wash at 30°C or colder, with similar colours.
- No bleach or fabric softener.
- Line dry, or tumble dry on low.
- Don’t iron directly on the print. Iron inside out if you need to.
- Don’t dry clean.

The AS Colour Staple Stone Wash Tee is the 5040: the classic Staple cut in light 32-singles 100% combed cotton, given a stone wash finish so it looks and feels worn-in from the first wear. Regular fit, crew neck with ribbing, side seams, shoulder-to-shoulder tape and double needle hems, and pre-shrunk so it keeps its shape.
